High-Stakes Gatherings

Events & Meetings

Dorivaresort House approaches corporate and private events the way it approaches everything else - with scale, precision, and a refusal to settle for the standard hotel ballroom formula. The property's event spaces range from a 400-person main hall with modular staging to intimate boardrooms with direct harbour sightlines, accommodating everything from product launches and investor summits to private celebrations that need the full weight of a Vancouver landmark behind them. Every event is assigned a dedicated coordinator who has worked this building long enough to know its quirks, its best angles, and exactly which room makes a first impression that holds.

Events & Meetings

400-Person Main Event Hall

The primary hall features a 30-foot ceiling, a retractable stage, full AV integration, and blackout capability - configurable for theatre, banquet, classroom, or reception formats within the same booking window.

Harbour-View Boardrooms

Three executive boardrooms seat eight to twenty participants, each with direct Coal Harbour sightlines, 4K video-conferencing built into the wall, and soundproofing rated to prevent any sound bleed from adjacent spaces.

In-House AV and Production Team

A resident AV crew handles all technical production on-site - lighting design, live streaming, sound mixing, and stage management - eliminating the coordination friction of outside vendors.

Custom Catering by Chef Olsen's Brigade

Event menus are designed directly with the culinary team: from canape receptions featuring BC-sourced provisions to full plated dinners built around the same seasonal philosophy driving the hotel's restaurant programme.

Dedicated Event Coordinator

Every confirmed event is assigned one coordinator who manages the timeline, vendor access, room transitions, and on-day logistics from first setup to final handoff - a single contact, no departmental hand-offs.

Post-Event Private Floor Access

Select corporate and milestone packages include a private after-hours access window to a designated section of the hotel's entertainment venues, giving event guests an exclusive wind-down that no outside venue can offer.
